The Skid Yard Rules

THE SKID YARD - DRIVER RULES

Want to lay down some rubber at The Skid Yard? Here's what you need to know before you roll in. These rules keep everyone safe and keep the event running, so please read them carefully.

Licence requirements
All drivers must provide proof that they have held a minimum of a P1 licence. No proof, no burnout. There are no junior burnouts.

Passengers
Passengers must be at least 120cm tall. There's no age restriction.

Car safety
Your car must be in safe working order, with NO leaking fluids. Cars that don't pass the check won't make it into the burnout area.

Straight-line burnouts only
All burnouts must be straight-line only.

Popping tyres
We discourage popping tyres. Anyone who is disrespectful about popping tyres will be excluded from future events.

Marshals and flags
Only start your burnout when a marshal tells you to. When the red flag comes out, you stop straight away. No exceptions.

Fire
If there's a fire, stop immediately and follow the directions of our marshals and safety crew.

Respect the rules, respect the crew, and let's put on a show!
