KOTS– Roll Racing

Car Requirements 

Street Cars only (No Tube Cars, Dedicated Drag Cars etc). Car must be registered or have the capability to be registered. 

Fuel 

  • Ethanol Based Fuels are ok

Tyres 

  • Radial Tyres Only 
  • Minimum 175 Tyre on front of car
  • No space savers allowed
  • All tyres must be treaded
  • No Oil, Fuel or Water leaks 

All exhaust pipes must extend to at least the end of the body work 

Working Headlights and Brake Lights 

Both Driver and Passenger seats must be firmly secured

Seatbelts must be in working order

Battery must be secured 

No loose objects anywhere inside the car

There must be no PC’s, handheld tuning devices or connections to the vehicles OBD2 Ports

All safety equipment eg. Seat belts and Airbags must be fitted and crash worthy. 

Tow Points/hooks are available in the event you must be towed. If your vehicle requires towing you accept the risks involved with towing or recovering your car. 

Unregistered cars are welcome but need to be approved by KOTS Management and must be pre entered. 

Car must not be able to start in gear (i.e. neutral safety switch)

Nitrous vehicles must display NO2 diamond on front and back

Any fire extinguishers fitted inside the vehicle must be secured up to  25G of acceleration 


Driver Requirements 

Must be a holder of an Australian Drivers Licence (No Learner Licences) 

Must hold a valid RACERS Licence 

Must be wearing a AS/NZS1698 or higher standard helmet 

All occupants of the vehicle must wear enclosed footwear and ankle to wrist to neck non-flammable clothing. 

Any driver or passenger seat with a 4 or 6 point harness must wear a HANS device during passes. 


Passenger Requirements 

All passengers must sign off and receive an arm band at the sign on shed prior to entering a vehicle.

All occupants must show valid government ID and be aged 18 years and older. 

Must be wearing a AS/NZS1698 or higher standard helmet 

All occupants of the vehicle must wear enclosed footwear and ankle to wrist to neck non-flammable clothing. 

Maximum of one passenger per vehicle per run 

Driver Responsibilities

It is the responsibility of the driver/owner of the vehicle to ensure that the vehicle is adequately prepared for the KOTS event. 

Prior to entering the staging lanes all loose items must be removed from the car as in the event of an accident they can become projectiles. Items like tools, laptops, water bottles or any similar items. 

It is the driver/owners responsibility to ensure that headlights and taillights are in working order, there are no leaking fluids, seats are securely fitted, seatbelts are operational and in good condition, the battery is secured, all brakes and steering components are in good working order. 

All entrants are responsible for their actions on and off the track. If you disrespect the venue and are unable to follow instructions, you will be asked to leave the event and banned from future KOTS events. If you fail to follow KOTS Staff orders, you will also be removed from the event.
