KOTS 2WD Championship – Points System & Finals Format

At every KOTS event, points are awarded only during the elimination rounds held at the end of the night. The top 8–10 2WD performers in these eliminations will earn points based on their finishing positions. These points accumulate across the season and are displayed on the official KOTS 2WD leaderboard.

December Finals: 2WD Championship Shootout

At the final event in December, the top 16 2WD cars on the points leaderboard will compete in a single-elimination battle to crown the KOTS 2WD Champion. A $5,000 total prize pool will be up for grabs on the night.

Points Allocation (Eliminations Only)

First - 30 points

Runner up - 20 points

Round 5 - 15 points each

Round 4 - 10 points each

Round 3 - 5 points

Points are only awarded to 2WD cars that compete in and advance through the official elimination rounds.

The car used to accumulate points throughout the season must be the same car used in the December Finals. No vehicle substitutions will be permitted.
